Care?
DPC is a model of healthcare where the patient and provider relationship is the focus, not what health insurance dictates or allows.
+ DPC practices charge a membership fee
directly to patients. This allows the care to be decided between the doctor and the best interests of the patient, not the doctor and the health insurance company.
+ DPC practices are often much smaller
than insurance-based practices, so you get better, more personalized care from a provider that you choose.
+ If you have insurance, it still covers
specialists, imaging or other diagnostic testing, labwork, prescriptions, etc. as usual.
